The Home Stretch

Since wake up call was at 3:00 am sharp this morning, we students stayed up all hours of the night before our long road trip ahead! With an extended curfew of 12:00 am, everyone enjoyed hanging out with their friends and cherishing our last night with our new lifelong friends!

We loaded the bus at 4:00 am, and we settled into our unassigned seats! Everyone was very happy being able to choose our seats and again enjoy our last moments with our new (and old) friends on the last bus ride! For breakfast, we stopped at McDonalds for some fast and yummy food. Then, we kept going and stopped at Buc-ees! Many of us enjoyed walking around, grabbing snacks, Buc-ees merch, and stretching our legs.

For lunch, we stopped at the world famous Varsity in Atlanta. Everyone loved the delicious food! We enjoyed things like french fries, chicken nuggets, cheeseburgers, and Frosted Coke Floats!

After that, we kept moving along and stopped at a couple rest stops for bathroom breaks and some fresh air.

When we finally arrived back to Greensboro, every student was very excited to see their families and after some sad goodbyes to our friends, we all headed home (or to a hotel for the night)! After an amazing Grand Western Tour, we have all made so many new life long friends, memories, and experiences we will never forget!
