The Happiest Place on Earth

Hi GWT! Today was much anticipated! It was finally time to head to Disney Land. We had many choices this morning as to what we wanted to do. Some people enjoyed a relaxing morning sleeping in, while others woke up early and headed to the park to beat the lines. No matter what choice you made, we all enjoyed a beautiful day at the park!

Some of us sported new Disney merch, while others tried park specific foods, such as churros, pretzels and anything else shaped as Mickey of course! I loved meeting the characters for pictures and wait times weren’t too long, so we got to ride lots of rollercoasters. My favorite was Pirates of the Caribbean!

 After a long day of walking around and taking in all of the awesome experiences, we sat back and watched the fireworks over the castle. Tonight we had an extended curfew, so some us headed back early while others enjoyed what the park had to offer up until closing. It was a very magical day, and we are all very excited to rest and go to the zoo tomorrow!
